The End

Today is the end of our summer camp. It did go by quickly. The boys ended the week helping me get my room ready for my new students and they did an amazing job. I can't believe that I have had 3 kids(not all mine) and in the blink of an eye I only have 1. When I got home and Sammie was the only one I had to get out of the car that's when I looked twice to make sure I wasn't leaving one. I will keep this blog and document Sammie and the boys. She is so lucky because we live so close. This summer was amazing and won't be forgotten.

Trevor got a ribbon for being a ROCK STAR and learning so much. He can't wait to go to first grade.

Tyler is ready to go back to Kindercare and learn a lot so he is ready for Kindergarten.

West Virginny

We're off to West Virginny where the internet is slow, the cars are slower, and the fun is much more fun.

Popsicles

Life is good.

Strange

As I was sitting reading a book all of a sudden this happened. I know...strange right? Does he have a medal for taking the fastest bath? The best behavior? The best good looking? Turned out he ended up being Mr. West Virginia. I would have never guessed. The boy is cute even in a robe right?

Don't Judge

When I eat breakfast in West Virginny I don't have to wear pants. Don't judge. Anything goes here people.

LUNCH!

We went to lunch a couple of times and of course I had to take pictures. All the kids behaved and because we were in the country we had some good pictures. We ate at a Texas Roadhouse and everyone was on their best behavior. I am lying about the last part. The boys loved it because the Manager wore a cowboy hat and they called him Big Tex.

Tyler the Horse

Papa is really into horse racing. I mean he loves it. In order for Tyler to nap Papa had to convince Tyler he was a race horse and he had to sleep in his "stable" which was a big box that he got by Fed Ex. My worst fear was that I had to bring the "stable" back home with me. I guess it worked. That boy slept. And when he slept we did hear a slight Neigh.....

Puppets are Cool!

I don't know what we have been missing out on but puppets are cool. We went to the best show and got to stay after the show to see how all the puppets work. All the kiddies had a great time.

County Fair

While in West Virginny we went to a county fair. We saw a goat that had some sort of outfit on. Tyler wanted to know why the goat was wearing clothes and to be totally honest I had no idea. What should I tell him? I said because it was cold. Who knows? After the fair Tyler fell asleep and everyone else was awake. Well, except for Gaga. She was trying to sleep but the kiddies were too loud. Sorry Gaga. SMILE!

Clean House

When I think that the boys have no idea that I am even speaking they surprise me with little things that they have learned since being at summer camp. Here are a few photos that speak the truth. After I put Tyler down for a nap (in Sammie's room) and Sammie down for a nap (in my room) I came down and Trevor was sitting on the ottoman like an angel. He told me that HE cleaned the living room ALL BY HIMSELF. I thought good for you. It wasn't until he went downstairs to watch a movie that I saw this.

Oh my gosh...he is learning something? That I really am OCD about organization? I am in love. He is so smart and can I get him on the payroll?

Okay this is a bit of an issue. A Donovan McNabb plaque (in a Redskins uniform) sitting next to an Eagles football that is sitting next to a Redskins helmet that is all on an Eagles blanket. What is going on here? We have a SITUATION here people.

Crafts gone WILD!

I love that the boys love football and all that stuff but I really love how when I want to make crafts they go wild. When their mom came to pick them up today she saw this. Tyler had a bit of fabric on his head for a helmet, Trevor had a fabric wristband, and Sammie had nothing. She wanted no part. She is the smartest one of them all. What the boys don't know is when they get married I will show everyone all these pictures just to humiliate them. I love being an Auntie. And I love them. All of them!

NO! NO! NO!

Sammie has had a hard time sharing her toys with the boys. It's no lie. She also doesn't care that they weigh 10-20 pounds more than she does. She fights. She pulls, stands up for herself, and screams. I would never teach her how to do this but she learned from someone (maybe Dada). This was the best picture to capture how she feels when they won't share with her. My sweet little girl turns into a monster and boy does she fight back. Last week she gave Tyler a black eye. (not really but it makes for a good story right)?

STORMS

A couple of days ago we had some bad storms. This of course happened when the boys were here and I was stuck with nothing to do. Luckily for me I was able to bribe them to do a photo shoot. I have learned since the first day of summer camp. I have tootsie rolls stashed in many places around the house. I only have to say the word tootsie and the boys go all glassy eyed and look at me like they will do anything to get one. Well anything is a little much. I am very unsuccessful to get them to clean or pick up but when it comes to taking photos they get an A+. Whatever works right?

Back to Normal

This is what we did today.

The car was back to normal because it looked like this.

They had a great time picking out books and couldn't wait to read them.

When we got back home Trevor decided to set up a store. I told him I had no money to buy anything but he didn't care. He was ready and determined. When I asked him how much the Philadelphia Flyers monkey was he said $1.00. Sorry Uncle Dave.

He had no customers but he did provide this....Live music. On my pots and pans that I don't know how to use. PERFECT. Wipe the dust away Trevor. You ROCK and so does your music.
